James Alan Sturtevant is a 34-year veteran classroom teacher and author of Hacking Engagement (Times 10, 2016) Hacking Engagement Again (Times 10, 2017), Teaching in Magenta (Times 10, 2020), and Even More Hacking Engagement (Times 10, 2023), and is co-authoring Book #1 of the Hack Learning Life Series: Hacking Life After 50 (Times 10, 2023). Jim is also the author of You've Gotta Connect (Incentive Publications, 2014). These books launched him into the national spotlight as an expert in rapport-building in schools and engaging even the most reluctant learners.
