Tony Sinanis is a superintendent in New York State and former Lead Learner at National Blue Ribbon School Cantiague Elementary in Jericho, New York. He is co-author of Hacking Leadership (Times 10, 2016) and The Power of Branding and Principal Professional Development (Corwin Press). Tony is the 2014 New York State Elementary Principal of the Year and the 2013 Bammy Awards’ National Elementary School Principal of the Year.

As part of his doctoral studies at the University of Pennsylvania, Tony explored the relationship between active participation on Twitter and the professional development of principals. @TonySinanis is the founder and co-moderator of #NYedchat.
